Job summary

Pertemps Birmingham Industrial is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers for a major retailer's operation at Hams Hall. The role involves multi-drop deliveries nationwide with 10-15 drops per day and includes handball of cages and loose loads.

Shifts start late night to early morning (00:00–04:00) with Monday to Saturday coverage (any 5 out of 6). Ongoing work and competitive pay rates apply, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card.
• Minimum 9 months Class 2 driving experience.
• Previous multi drop or store delivery work is preferred.
• Comfortable with paperwork.
• OK to complete full assessment including theory, practical & Drug and alcohol test upon arrival.
• Good customer service skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Local or Distance deliveries to high street shops or retail parks.
• 10-15 drops or collections on a daily basis.
• Start times on days between 00:00 and 04:00.
• Handball and flexibility to do a variety of runs is mandatory.
• Regular shift pattern of Monday to Saturday any 5 days out of 6.
• Ensuring timely and professional deliveries to customers.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks.

HGV Class 2 Driver - Hams Hall

£17.76 to £24.25 per hour based on Overtime and shift pattern.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a leading logistics company working with a major retailer based in the Hams Hall

This is an ongoing role delivering to high street and retail park stores on a regular shift pattern. The work would include multi drop deliveries and handball will be expected of cages and loose loads.

This will be a role delivering to stores across the country and it could be 10-15 drops per day

The Role:

• Local or Distance deliveries to high street shops or retail parks
• 10-15 drops or collections on a daily basis
• Start times on days between 00:00 & 04:00hr sarts.
• Handball and flexibility to do a variety of runs is mandatory
• Regular shift pattern of Monday to Saturday any 5 days out of 6.
• Ensuring timely and professional deliveries to customers
• Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks

Pay Rates:

• £17.76 per hour on Days
• Overtime premiums of £24.25 per hour for all hours completed after 48hrs per week.

Requirements:
