• Inspect the vehicle for any mechanical issues.

Skills

Valid driver's license

Proven experience as a delivery driver

Base pay range

CareerMakers are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 to join our client based in Wigan.

As a Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle
• Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
• Inspect the vehicle for any mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs
• Can vary from 6 drops upwards depending on distance. -Ensure loads are properly secure
  
  

Skills:

• Valid driver's license with the appropriate category to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience
• Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately - 2 years experience
  
  

Pay Rate:£14 per hour

Monday- Friday.
