Job Description

CareerMakers Recruitment, a leading name in the transportation and logistics industry, is currently hiring experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our growing team. We’re proud to work with a highly reputable logistics partner known for operational excellence and driver satisfaction.

Position Details

• Role: Class 1 HGV Driver
• 
  Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
• Pay:
• £15.50 per hour (basic PAYE)
• £17.37 per hour (including holiday pay)
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles in a safe and professional manner
• Deliver goods on time, maintaining high service standards
• Follow all transport regulations and health & safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with the wider logistics and warehouse team
  
  

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 HGV driving experience
• Valid CPC and Tachograph card
• Strong commitment to safety and regulations
