Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for Gloucester depot. Work on skip lorries or refuse collection vehicles, with responsibilities including deliveries, collections, and ensuring loads are secure. You must hold a CPC and Category C licence.

We are now recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team. Working on either a skip lorry or refuse collection vehicle to suit you. You will be working from our Gloucester Depot (GL2 7ND).

Responsibilities for HGV Class 2 Driver:

• Carrying out routine vehicle checks
• Making sure that the load is correctly placed and is secure
• Delivery, collecting and removing skips
• Emptying wheelie bins
• Driving HGV refuse vehicle (RCV)
• Maintaining a log book with details of trips, including rest breaks
• Hold a valid CPC and Category C licence
• Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated
• Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
• Be capable and confident in your ability.
