Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for pallet multi-drop deliveries in the Witney area. Typical starts are around 07:15 with average shifts up to 10 hours. A minimum of 8 hours' pay per shift is guaranteed, with weekly pay and £17.00 per hour.

You will be responsible for safe deliveries, paperwork accuracy, and professional customer service while adhering to company procedures.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 (C) licence is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph certification.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience is preferred.
• Experience with palletised multi-drop deliveries is advantageous.
• Comfortable handling palletised goods.
• Good communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Deliver palletised multi-drop deliveries.
• Load and unload deliveries as required.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and securely.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Carry out vehicle checks per company procedures.
• Maintain a professional approach with customers.
• Follow road safety and company procedures.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced
HGV Class 2 Driver
to join a busy operation based in
Witney .The role involves making
palletised multi-drop deliveries
to customers across the local and surrounding areas.You will be responsible for completing your deliveries safely and efficiently, providing good customer service and ensuring all paperwork and delivery requirements are completed correctly.The average start time is
07:15 , with shifts typically lasting up to
10 hours . Drivers are guaranteed a
minimum of 8 hours' pay per shift , regardless of whether the shift finishes earlier.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
• Completing palletised multi-drop deliveries
• Loading and unloading deliveries as requiredEnsuring goods are delivered safely and securely

Requirements

• Valid
• HGV Class 2 (C) licence
