Job Opportunity: HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C)

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, up to 5/6 shifts a week (including weekends), with start times from midnight to 4am.

Pay Rate: £14.28 - £16.08 per hour PAYE

Location: Crawley, RH10

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
• Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Assisting with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck, if required.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company professionally and courteously.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
