Job description

Driver Hire Stockport are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our well respected client in Buxton. This role will consist of delivering fresh and frozen food to pubs and restaurants across the country.

The candidate must have HGV experience, and will be responsible for making deliveries in a safely and timely manner.

You will be working Tuesday to Saturday, 5am starts.

This is a permanent job role with an immediate start, and interviews will be held ASAP.

Duties

• Driving the HGV vehicle responsibly while obeying all traffic laws.


• Carrying out the required daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance.


• Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle.


• Communicate effectively with customers and other team members regarding deliveries and any issues.


• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

• Valid Cat C Licence (HGV Class 2)


• A Valid CPC and Tacho Card.


• 6 month of relevant driving experience (preferred)


• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)


• Must provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company at all times.


• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.

PAY RATES:

Whilst employed with Driver Hire you will recieve £15.ooph and £20.00ph overtime.

Once you are full time you will recieve £16.00ph (guranteed 40 hours)
