Job summary

Blade Access Ltd is seeking a driver/operator to join their specialist powered access fleet. You will drive HGV-mounted access platforms to customer sites across the UK, safely position and set up the machine, and operate it to provide safe access for on-site work.

Ideal candidates are safety-focused, reliable, and keen to develop specialist skills beyond conventional HGV driving. Training will be provided to work with varying equipment in construction, telecoms, and infrastructure sectors.

We're looking for people who want to become specialist Driver/Operators.

As a Blade Driver/Operator, you'll drive one of our specialist truck-mounted access platforms to customer sites across the UK, safely position and set up the machine, and operate it to provide customers with safe access to work at height.

You'll be driving some of the most specialist access equipment in the UK with Blade's fleet ranging from compact truck-mounted platforms to machines capable of working at heights exceeding 100 metres.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Your day-to-day role will include:

• Driving a specialist HGV-mounted access platform to customer sites.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks.
• Completing site-specific safety checks and documentation.
• Safely positioning and setting up the platform.
• Operating the platform in accordance with your training and company procedures.
• Working directly with customers and site teams.
• Providing a professional and reliable service on site.
• Maintaining the highest standards of safety.
• Looking after your vehicle and equipment.
• Representing Blade Access professionally at every site.
