Job summary

Blade Access Ltd is seeking a driver/operator to join their specialist powered access fleet. You will drive HGV-mounted access platforms to customer sites across the UK, safely position and set up the machine, and operate it to provide safe access for on-site work.

Ideal candidates are safety-focused, reliable, and keen to develop specialist skills beyond conventional HGV driving. Training will be provided to work with varying equipment in construction, telecoms, and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 license required or held
• Safety-conscious and professional on site
• Customer-focused with good communication
• Willing to learn and adapt to specialist equipment
• Confident working at height and in varying conditions
• Mechanically minded with fault-prevention mindset
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proud of the equipment operated and maintained

Responsibilities

• Drive a specialist HGV-mounted access platform to customer sites across the UK
• Carry out vehicle and equipment checks
• Complete site-specific safety checks and documentation
• Safely position and set up the access platform
• Operate the platform in line with training and procedures
• Work with customers and site teams to deliver a on-site service
• Provide a professional and reliable service while on site
• Maintain the highest safety standards on all tasks
• Look after the vehicle and equipment and represent Blade Access on site
