Job summary

Gap Group is seeking an HGV Driver with HIAB to join our Non-Mechanical division. You will load, deliver and collect hire equipment to customer sites, performing demonstrations if needed and completing required checks and administration.

The ideal candidate has a proven HGV driving background, a Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and a focus on safety and high-quality customer service in a demanding environment. Training for HIAB is available.

Qualifications

• Significant experience driving an HGV, including loading, delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
• Class 2 driving licence with Driver CPC and valid Tachograph card is required.
• HIAB licence preferred but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to/from customer sites.
• Perform on-site demonstrations if required and complete relevant checks and administration.
• Maintain safety and compliance with health & safety guidelines at all times.

We're looking for an HGV Driver with HIAB to join our Non-Mechanical division which offers the latest, industry-leading Non-Mechanical equipment including pedestrian / crowd control barriers, temporary security fencing, trench boxes, bogmats, magnetic rail barriers, road plates and more. The duties of the HGV Driver with HIAB will include loading, delivery and collection of hire equipment to and from the customer site in a timely and professional manner, demonstration (if required) and completing any relevant checks and administration involved for the hire. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

• Significant experience working within an HGV driving role loading, delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites is essential
• Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card
• HIAB licence preferred but full training will be provided
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
