Job summary

DBR Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in Ashton-under-Lyne.

The role requires operating a Class 2 vehicle safely, delivering up to 10 drops daily, and maintaining full compliance with tachograph and driving-hour rules. The ideal candidate will hold a current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, be highly reliable with excellent timekeeping, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Ashton-under-Lyne, Manchester.

Our client is a leading online supplier of pipeline products, renowned for their comprehensive inventory and competitive pricing. They offer a wide range of materials including mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic, copper and much more. Their extensive product line-up includes process valves, pipe fittings, flanges, steel pipework, and accessories, serving industries that handle water, gas, oil, air, steam, chemicals, and solids.

This role is a temporary position.

Duties:

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Up to 10 drops per day
• Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
• Smart appearance, willing to learn and be trained up
• Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance

Requirements:

• Current and up to date CPC
• Current Digital Tachograph Card
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable

Hours:

• Days - Monday to Friday (8am starts)
