Job summary

MFK Recruitment Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver. You will be responsible for the safe loading, delivery, and collection of heavy plant equipment across the region, with a focus on reliable, customer-friendly service.

The role is permanent and full-time, with a standard 7:30 am to 4:30 pm schedule, occasional overtime and Sunday shifts. Ongoing training and long-term career opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an HGV driving role involving plant machinery or heavy equipment.
• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
• Recent experience towing trailers.
• Health & Safety procedures knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks.
• Demonstrating hire equipment to customers when required.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and hire documentation accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and Health & Safety procedures.

HGV Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful company supplying equipment to the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe loading, delivery, and collection of heavy plant equipment to customer sites across the region. You'll play an important role in ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment safely and efficiently
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks
• Demonstrating hire equipment to customers when required
• Completing all relevant paperwork and hire documentation accurately
• Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and Health & Safety procedures

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have:
