Job summary

Biomarsh is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Tanker Drivers to support wastewater collection operations from the Northampton Location Yard. This is direct employment with 4 on, 4 off rota, with regular overtime and paid breaks. Valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card are essential, along with good route planning and customer service.

Training is provided on tanker operations. You will work from our Northampton base, with on-site parking and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, full Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 tanker to collect and transport wastewater from various sites.
• Complete safe loading/unloading using hoses, valves and pumps.
• Follow all health, safety, environmental, PPE and site procedures.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects and keep the vehicle clean.
• Use a tablet to manage jobs, status updates and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate job sheets and waste records where required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and the transport team.

2 x Day and 2 x Night HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Tanker Driver

4 on, 4 off | Days 05:00–17:00 | Paid breaks

Day rate: £16.00 per hour | Overtime

Biomarsh is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Tanker Drivers to support wastewater collection operations from our Northampton Location Yard, across utilities and environmental-services sites.

This is direct employment—not agency work—on a 4 on, 4 off rota. Regular overtime and Bank Holiday working are required when they fall on your shift.

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, full Driver CPC and digital tachograph card

Good road knowledge and the ability to plan your own routes

Understanding of UK Domestic Drivers’ Hours rules

Confidence using Apps via tablet for jobs, updates and documentation

Excellent customer service and a tidy, professional approach

Residence within approximately 45 minutes of the vehicle base

Flexibility for regular overtime and Bank Holiday working when rostered

Tanker experience preferred, but not essential as full training is provided.
