Pertemps Newcastle is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for Northumbrian Water, based at Tees Dock Road, Stockton-on-Tees. This fixed-term contract offers £16.88 per hour with overtime up to 2.2x, and is up to 40 hours per week across day and night shifts.

You will transport sludge from sewage treatment works to processing sites across the North East, delivering a professional service while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of EU Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
• Strong commitment to health, safety and compliance.

This full-time temporary contract runs a minimum of five months, offering £16.88 hourly with overtime up to 2.2x. Working up to forty hours weekly across day and night shifts, the driver transports sludge from sewage treatment works throughout the North East to processing sites. Duties include operating C+E vehicles safely, meeting compliance standards, completing documentation, and liaising with site teams.
