Job summary

Rapier Employment Limited is seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for a tramper role in Scunthorpe. The position is full-time on a temporary-to-permanent basis with a daily rate of £190 and night-out pay of £25.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, general haulage, trailer swaps, and RDC deliveries across the north and midlands. Applicants must hold a C+E licence for at least 12 months, with 3 months’ commercial experience, a Tachograph Card and CPC qualification.

Qualifications

• C+E licence held for at least 12 months.
• At least 3 months of commercial driving experience for insurance purposes.
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification essential.
• No DR10, CD10 or IN10 convictions; max 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle checks and general haulage.
• Collections with trailer swaps and RDC work.
• Operate curtain sider and box trailers.
• Deliver regionally across the north and midlands.
