Job summary

MKD Recruit Ltd. is seeking Class 1 / HGV 1 Trampers and Day Drivers for a growing client based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Expect 12–15 hour shifts with hourly pay; start times from early morning. Roles cover curtain-sider deliveries, securing loads on pallets, and nationwide travel.

Typical schedule is Monday to Friday with optional Saturdays. Nights out are paid; pay includes £18.08 per hour weekdays and £22.16 on Saturdays, with potential for long hours, especially Thursday and Friday.

Qualifications

• FULL UK HGV Licence required.
• Driver CPC and Digi Card required.
• Max 6 Penalty Points (No IN10, CD, DD, DR or DG convictions).

Responsibilities

• Secure and strap loads as required by law.
• Drive across the country on curtain-sider units.
• Work regular long hours, including Thursday and Friday.

Job description

MKD Recruit are looking for Class 1 / HGV 1 Trampers and Day Drivers based out of a growing client in Kings Lynn Norfolk.

You will be good with start times from and should expect 12-15 hour shifts, paid on an hourly basis not day rate.

You could find yourself going all over the country, Trampers will have units that are fit for purpose, this is curtain sided work with all items secured to pallets, from supermarket deliveries to BBQ's.

You are expected to strap and secure all loads, as legally required.

Mostly Monday to Friday with some optional Saturday shifts offered for those that have the legal hours to do so. IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE.

Monday to Friday £18.08 Per Hour. /. Saturdays £22.16

NIGHTS OUT ARE PAID AT £25.00 Per Night

We can offer both Tramping roles and day driving roles, Full Time and Part Time, this client has the flexibility to work with us both to ensure lorries are operational.
