Job summary

IDrive Recruitment Ltd is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join a client in Andover. The role covers long‑distance UK deliveries and collections with regular nights out in the vehicle, and 5- or 6-day shift patterns.

You'll be a self-motivated and safety‑minded professional, capable of route planning, tachograph compliance, paperwork accuracy, and maintaining clear communication with the transport office during shifts. Nights out pay is £25 per night.

Responsibilities

• Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in a safe and legal manner
• Carry out long-distance deliveries and collections across the UK
• Plan and manage daily routes, adhering to delivery schedules
• Complete accurate paperwork, including delivery notes and tachograph records
• Ensure goods are securely loaded and unloaded, with care and attention to safety
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Comply with all UK driving laws and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintain communication with the transport office during shifts

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join us for one of our Clients in Andover. The successful candidate will be responsible for the long-distance delivery and collection of goods across the UK, with regular nights out in the vehicle. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and values professionalism, safety, and efficiency on the road.

5 Day and 6 Day shift patterns

£25 per night out
