Job summary

Blue Arrow in Preston is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for a pre-booked, ongoing contract. Expect 12-hour shifts, nationwide depot servicing, and a 24/7 roster with rotas to be confirmed. Family-friendly routes and predictable hours are emphasized.

Applicants should hold a valid UK C+E licence, CPC and tachograph card, with at least 12 months of Class 1 experience and a clean licence (no more than 6 points; no DR/DG/CD/DD/BA). Onsite parking is available.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class C+E Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 experience.
• Data available on your tachograph card showing work over last 6 months.
• Licence must not have more than 6 points and cannot include DR/DG/CD/DD/BA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and swap collections across nationwide destinations.
• Service depots across the country.
• Operate within a 24/7 rota with average 12-hour shifts.
• Maintain safety and compliance on all journeys.
