JAM Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 tramper driver in Bargoed, Caerphilly. The role offers full-time, permanent employment with a guaranteed 48 hours per week and pays £15.00 per hour, £16.00 per hour on Sundays.

You will safely transport goods across multiple locations, manage delivery schedules, and uphold high safety standards. A valid Class 1 licence and reliable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving.
• Strong driving skills and safety focus.
• Ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery records (mileage, fuel, incidents).
• Communicate delivery schedules and delays to dispatch/clients.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
