Job summary

Blue Arrow HS is seeking a HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our nationwide logistics operation based in the UK. You will perform drop and swap collections, servicing depots across the country with a modern fleet and telematics.

Shifts run 24-7 with average 12-hour days; 45-minute breaks; night out allowance applies; you must hold a full UK Class C+E licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card to start.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class C+E Licence or equivalent.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are mandatory.
• Professional driving experience with HGV class vehicles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery type: Drop and swap collections.
• Destinations: Nationwide across the UK.
• Workload: Servicing depots across the country.
• No multi-drop deliveries.

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Contract Type: Pre-booked, ongoing

Positions Available: 5

Location: Carlise, CA6

Pay Rates

• Monday - Thursday: £19.15ph and £27.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Friday: £19.15ph until midnight, £24.52ph after and £27.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Saturday: £24.52ph until midnight, £27.25ph after and £27.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Sunday: £27.25ph until midnight, £19.15ph after and £27.25ph OT after 8 hours
• Night out allowance: £28.87 per night

45 minute break deducted daily and rates increase after 12 weeks service

Shift Patterns

• Shifts: Operation runs 24-7 Monday to Sunday - Rota TBC
• Average Shift Length: 12 hours
• Start times: TBC - Can vary depending on business requirements
