SynergyX Freight is hiring experienced HGV Class 1 tramp drivers to join our expanding fleet. You will deliver freight across the UK, often spending nights away in your vehicle, with bay-to-bay deliveries and no manual handling.

We offer a competitive salary of £48,880 per year, monthly PAYE, a modern fleet, auto-enrolment pension, ongoing training, and free uniform and PPE. The role requires a valid Class 1 license and compliance with rest breaks and road safety rules.

Responsabilités

• Long-haul driving across the UK with nights away in the vehicle.
• Bay-to-bay deliveries with no manual handling; drop-and-go deliveries.
• Operate a modern fleet and plan journeys
• Adhere to road safety rules and company policies (rest breaks, hours)
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report issues; use SNAP accounts and fuel cards.
• Maintain consistent work with 5 consecutive tramping shifts Sun-Fri.

This role is intended for candidates who live within commuting distance of Liverpool. Occasional on-site presence is required.

What You’ll Do:

• Long-haul driving: You will be delivering freight across the UK, often spending nights away in your vehicle.
• Bay-to-bay delivery only, with no manual handling: All deliveries are drop-and-go (bay-to-bay), meaning you won’t be lifting goods.
• Drive a modern, well-maintained modern fleet, you should also be confident in basic navigation and journey planning.
• Follow all road safety rules and company policies, including rest breaks and driving hours.
• Carry out daily checks and report any issues – we pride ourselves on running a reliable, safe fleet.
• Use of SNAP accounts and fuel cards for ease on the road
• Consistent work with 5 consecutive tramping shifts Sun-Fri.

Requirements

• Full UK C+E License (Class 1): You must hold a valid Class 1 license to operate articulated vehicles.
• We welcome both experienced and newly qualified HGV drivers.
• Clean license preferred: We accept up to 6 points, but no serious endorsements such as TT (disqualification), DR (drink driving), or IN (insurance offences).
• Fluency in English Language (preferred)
• UK road law knowledge: Understanding the Highway Code, rest break rules, and HGV-specific regulations.
• Right to work in the UK: You must have valid documents confirming your eligibility.
• Safety first – all drivers must pass pre-employment screening (drug and alcohol test, background check).

Schedule

• Day and night shifts
• 5 days per week, including some weekends
• Overnight tramping required
