Job summary

Kinaxia Newcastle in Washington depot is recruiting HGV Class 1 Trampers to support our General Haulage division. You will complete daily vehicle checks, ensure on-time arrivals, and deliver/collect as manifest while upholding health and safety standards.

Applicants must hold LGV C+E licence with 2 years' experience, a valid Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold LGV C+E (Class 1) licence with 2 years' experience preferred.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good communication skills and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Deliver and collect as manifest and maintain timely arrivals.
• Follow company procedures, the Highway Code and health & safety standards.
• Keep vehicle clean and comply with tachograph regulations.
• Operate pallet truck/tail lift deliveries as required.

About The Job

• Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
• Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues
• Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
• Maintain all health and safety standards
• Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested
• Comply with all EU tachograph and WTD regulations
• Ensure your vehicle is kept clean and tidyPallet truck / Tail lift deliveries required

Your Knowledge And Experience

• To hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence - 2 years' experience preferred.
• To have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC
• To own a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication skills
