Job summary

Stobarts in Appleton, Warrington is seeking a Class 1 HGV Tramper Driver for nationwide general haulage tramping work. This permanent, full-time role offers modern equipment and opportunities to support Formula 1 and international events during the season.

You will deliver across the UK, perform trunking and distribution work, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain vehicle checks. A flexible approach to away-from-home shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points with no DD or DR convictions.
• A flexible approach to tramping and working away from home.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, professional and safety-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide deliveries and collections across the UK.

Earn up to £57,722 per annum

Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a permanent tramping role with a well-established and growing transport operation? We are recruiting professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team based in Appleton, Warrington.

This role offers regular UK-wide general haulage tramping work, modern equipment, and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a successful transport and logistics business. For drivers looking to broaden their experience, there may also be opportunities to support our specialist Formula 1 and international events logistics division during the events season.

The Role
