Job summary

Recon Services Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The role involves nationwide transport, with a Monday–Friday tramping pattern and around 50 hours per week. This work is primarily flatbed, so you must safely strap loads using ratchet straps and ensure cargo is secured.

You will be working for a couple of different clients with tramping until at least Christmas. Applicants should hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and Tachograph (Tacho) and demonstrate a proven safe

Qualifications

• Possess a valid HGV Class 1 driving licence, CPC, Tacho
• Experience in flatbed transportation is desirable
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Drive lorries to transport goods over short and long distances
• Load and unload cargo
• Ensure goods are secured properly during transportation
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns

We are recruiting for a couple of different clients with tramping work until at least Christmas.

This will be mainly Flatbed work, so you are required to safely use ratchet straps.

You will be out monday - friday tramping, normally working around 50 hours per week,
