Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics in Eastleigh (Southampton) is seeking HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our team. The role offers variety, independence, and a professional environment with guaranteed 48 hours per week.

You’ll tramp with 3–5 nights out per week, start times vary, and you’ll earn £15.25 per hour with overtime opportunities and night out allowances. Full uniform and PPE are provided, along with pension and life assurance benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• Excellent communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and readiness.
• Deliver and collect goods as scheduled in a tramping role.
• Follow company procedures and Highway Code; maintain safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.

Role Details

• Start times: Varied (based on customer requirements)
• Working days: Monday to Friday
• Guaranteed: 48 hours per week
• Duties: Tramping role with 3–5 nights out per week

Your Role

As a Tramper Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness
• Delivering and collecting goods as scheduled
• Following company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code
• Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
• Communicating effectively with the traffic office regarding any issues
• Complying with EU tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained

What We’re Looking For
