Job summary

Brit European Group recruits experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for its specialist heavy transport operation based in Portbury. You will transport commercial vehicles and plant machinery across the UK with modern transporter equipment, enjoying a secure permanent role and strong earning potential.

The job offers a stable, year-round workload, night out and meal allowances, overtime at enhanced rates, and ongoing training to develop specialist transport skills within a respected operation.

Qualifications

Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
Valid Driver CPC Qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 penalty points
No DD, DR or IN endorsements
Good level of physical fitness
Professional attitude and strong attention to safety

Responsibilities

Transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery nationwide
Loading, securing and unloading vehicles safely
Completing vehicle inspections and delivery paperwork
Ensuring full compliance with all transport and safety regulations
Working safely at height when required
