Job summary

Brit European is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our specialist heavy transport operation across the UK. You will transport commercial vehicles and plant machinery on transporter equipment, with a Monday to Friday tramping pattern and the potential for overtime.

This permanent role offers realistic earnings, modern equipment, job security and opportunities to develop specialist transport skills within a respected operation.

Qualifications

• Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification

Brit European is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our specialist heavy transport operation.

The Role

As part of our specialist transport team, you will transport commercial vehicles and plant machinery throughout the UK using the latest generation transporter equipment.

This is a rewarding role that offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to work within a highly skilled transport operation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Transporting commercial vehicles and plant machinery nationwide
• Loading, securing and unloading vehicles safely
• Completing vehicle inspections and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring full compliance with all transport and safety regulations
• Working safely at height when required

Please note this role operates specialist transporter vehicles fitted with transporter-sized cabs.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday tramping
• Typical start times between 05:00 and 06:00
• Up to 4 nights out per week
• Permanent, year-round work

What We’re Looking For

• Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous car transporter or vehicle recovery experience preferred but not essential
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements
• Good level of physical fitness
• Comfortable working at height
• Professional attitude and strong attention to safety
