Job summary

Tom Orange Recruitment Ltd in Rushden seeks HGV Class 1 night drivers for easy trunking, drop and swap work with training provided.

Shifts start 18:00 for 10–12 hours. Weekend coverage is required (Sat or Sun or both). 2 years’ experience with current CPC and DIGI card; max 6 points; no DD/DR/IN10s.

Temp-to-perm options available for the right candidates; PAYE rates are £21.00/h weekdays and up to £25.76/h on weekends, with holiday uplift.

Qualifications

• Bulker or RoRo experience would be an advantage but training provided.
• Applicants must have 2 years' experience with current CPC and DIGI card.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences - NO DDs DRs IN10s

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 bulker or RoRo routes as part of trunking operations.
• Perform food waste collections from supermarket RDCs; you are not expected to handle the product.
• Drop and swap trailers; easy work with 1–2 trailers per day

HGV Class 1

Rushden based client requires Night drivers 18.00 starts for easy trunking, drop/swap work.

Bulker or RoRo experience would an advantage but not necessary as training will be provided.

PM Roles available- Ongoing on a Rota - No cancellations

Temp to perm also available for the right candidates.

HGV Class 1 bulker drivers wanted for food waste collections from Supermarket RDCs.You are not expected to handle the product.

Bulk Tippers and waking floor trailer operations - training provided

Drop & swapping trailers easy work 1 - 2 per day

Client requires either a Saturday PM or Sunday PM to be covered or both.

Alternatively you may work any block of shifts covering the weekend for example Wed - Sun , Thursday to Monday etc

18.00 starts 10 / 12 hr shift

Monday - Friday PM £21.00 p/h + Holiday = £23.53 P/h PAYE

Weekends £23.00 P/h + Holiday = £25.76 per hr PAYE

Immediate Starts

The operation is 7 days per week so client can offer an accommodating shift pattern

Applicants must be able to cover weekend shifts RE Saturdays or both,

Flexible weekly shift patterns covering weekends can be accommodated.

Will accept drivers for Sat or Sun or 6 shifts any combo considered

Applicants must have 2 years' experience with current CPC and DIGI card
