Job summary

Tom Orange Recruitment Ltd is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for night shifts based in Rushden. The role involves bulker and RoRo operations with training provided for certain tasks, and covers 1–2 trailer swaps per day. Weekend blocks or mixed Wed-Sun blocks are available to suit pattern.

Shifts start around early evening with 10–12 hour durations; Saturday and Sunday evenings are particularly noted. Immediate starts are offered with 7 days operation and flexible shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Two years' CPC and Digi card experience required.
• HGV Class 1 experience preferred (bulker/RoRo advantageous).
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 bulker or RoRo vehicles to and from RDCs.
• Perform food waste collections with training provided.
• Handle trailer drop and swap tasks, 1–2 per day.

Rushden Based client easy work requires Night drivers 18.00 starts

Bulker or RoRo experience an advantage but not necessary training provided.

PM Roles available- Ongoing on a Rota - No cancellations

Temp to perm also available for the right candidates.

HGV Class 1 bulker drivers wanted for food waste collections from RDCs

Bulk Tippers and waking floor trailer operations - training provided

Drop & swapping trailers easy work 1 - 2 per day

Client requires either a Saturday PM or Sunday PM to be covered or both.

Alternatively you may work any block of shifts covering the weekend IE Wed - Sun

18.00 starts 10 / 12 hr shift

Monday - Friday PM £21.00 p/h + Holiday = £23.53 P/h PAYE

Weekends £23.00 P/h + Holiday = £25.76 per hr PAYE

Immediate Starts

The operation is 7 days per week so client can offer an accommodating shift pattern

Applicants must be able to cover weekend shifts RE Saturdays or both,

Flexible weekly shift patterns covering weekends can be accommodated.

Will accept drivers for Sat or Sun or 6 shifts any combo considered

Applicants must have 2 years' experience with current CPC and DIGI card
