Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is currently seeking Class 1 night drivers for a client based in Eastleigh. This ongoing role offers a potential full-time contract with a Monday to Friday pattern. Start times range between 17:00 and 20:00, with night trunking to a main hub in Coventry.

Requirements include a full UK Class 1 (CE) licence and a valid CPC card, plus either previous Class 2/1 experience or willingness to learn. On-site parking, induction, and assessment are provided.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and literacy skills are essential.
• Previous driving experience preferred for Class 1 trunking.
• Reliability and professional attitude are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 overnight trunking to the main hub in Coventry.
• Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Follow Monday–Friday pattern with start times 17:00–20:00 as stated.
• Attend induction and assessment if required.

Job description

The Best Connection we currently looking for Class 1 night drivers to help our client based in Eastleigh.

This role is ongoing with the potential to go full time with a contract. Working Monday to Friday.

Start Time - Between 17:00/20:00pm

Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday

The Role:

• Night trunk up to Main hub in Coventry
• Paying £18.79 per hour with overtime after 45 hours
• Vehicle checks required before and after each shift
• Regular work Monday to Friday
• New passes are welcome, must have previous commercial driving experience
• Previous Class 1 trunking experience would be advisable but not essential
• On-site parking
• Induction and assessment provided

• Full UK Class 1 (Category CE) licence
• Valid CPC Card
• Previous driving experience on Class 2 or Class 1
