Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Class 1 Night Driver for an ongoing role in Eastleigh. The position offers Monday to Friday shifts with start times around 17:00–20:00 and driving to the main hub in Coventry. Hourly pay ranges from £18.25 to £22.81, with overtime after 45 hours and on-site parking available.

Potential to go full-time; prior Class 1 trunking experience is preferred but not essential. Induction provided and immediate starts may be available.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 (CE) licence required.
• Valid CPC Card required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card required.

Responsibilities

• Night trunk deliveries to main hub (Coventry).
• Vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Regular work Monday to Friday with start times between 17:00 and 20:00.
• Overtime payable after 45 hours.

CLASS 1 NIGHT DRIVER - EASTLEIGH

The Best Connection we currently looking for Class 1 night drivers to help our client based in Eastleigh.

This role is ongoing with the potential to go full time with a contract. Working Monday to Friday.

Salary - £18.25 / £22.81

Location - Eastleigh

Start Time - Between 17:00/20:00pm

Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday

The Role:

• Night trunk up to Main hub in Coventry


• Various start times depending on your run


• Paying £18.25 per hour with overtime after 45 hours


• Vehicle checks required before and after each shift


• Regular work Monday to Friday


• New passes are welcome, must have previous commercial driving experience


• Previous Class 1 trunking experience would be advisable but not essential


• On-site parking


• Induction provided

What You'll Need:

• Full UK Class 1 (Category CE) licence


• Valid CPC Card


• Valid Digital Tacho Card


• Previous driving experience on Class 2 or Class 1


• Good communication skills


• Good numeracy and literacy skills
