Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our long-standing client based in the Tewkesbury area. Offering excellent rates of pay, flexible night shifts and ongoing work, this is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for regular work with a professional transport operation.

Our client is a well-established temperature-controlled logistics provider, delivering fresh and chilled products to customers across the UK through a modern transport network and high-performing fleet.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Sunday: £17.50 per hour

PAYE (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

• Monday to Sunday: £19.61 per hour

Drivers can choose whether to receive accrued holiday pay or rolled-up holiday pay as part of their hourly rate.

The Role

As a HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will be completing multi-drop deliveries of chilled products to a variety of customers, including retailers, schools, hospitality venues and commercial premises throughout the region.

Typical duties include:

• Multi-drop deliveries of chilled goods
• Completing daily vehicle defect checks
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required
• Safely securing and transporting goods
• Completing delivery paperwork and POD documentation
• Ensuring deliveries are made on time and to customer requirements
• Complying with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Maintaining excellent standards of professionalism and road safety

This HGV Class 1 Night Driver role involves working within a busy logistics and distribution environment where reliability, attention to detail and customer service are essential.

Shift Information

• Night shifts available Monday to Sunday
• Typical start times between 20:00 and 02:00
• Average shift length 10-12 hours
• Ongoing work throughout the year

Driver Requirements
