The Culina Group is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Unilever site in Leeds for our general haulage operation. You will perform store and RDC deliveries across the region, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and opportunities for night work.

• Work with transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to drivers hours, WTD and tachograph legislation.

Job description

We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us at our customer Site Unilever in Leeds, for our General Haulage operation, completing store and RDC deliveries across the region. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

The role is full time, working on a permanent basis and will be working on a 4 on 4 offshift pattern and we have opportunities working Nights:

• Day Shift 06:00

Pay Rates:

We have increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £15,15 to £18.96 per hour, depending on shift – giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us.

• Mon-Fri Days – £15.15per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Days – £18.15per hour
• Bank Holidays – £18.96per hour.

On top of base salary our HGV Drivers will be entitled to £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance

Driver Responsibilities:

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers, to Distribution Centres and Stores
• Supporting General work, including occasional store deliveries and requirement to load and unload cages
• Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation
• Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism
• Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
• Adhere to Driver’s hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.
