Job summary

Stobart (Part of the Culina Group) is hiring for an HGV driver to perform general haulage and distribution tasks in the UK. Start times range from 17:00 to 19:00, with Friday to Monday or Thursday to Sunday night patterns.

Earn up to £18.65 per hour on nights with higher rates on bank holidays. Full benefits include holiday entitlement, PPE, DCPC training, and life assurance. Applicants must hold a C+E licence with limited points and DCPC, Tachograph cards.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C+E Licence with up to 6 points on your driving licence.
• Possess DCPC and Tachograph cards and understand WTD rules.
• No DD/DR convictions and able to comply with transport legislation.

Responsibilities

• General haulage and distribution work.
• Delivering to RDCs, retail stores, and customer sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with driver hours and transport legislation.
• Maintain safety and professional conduct at all times.

What You'll Be Doing

• General haulage and distribution work
• Delivering to RDCs, retail stores, and customer sites
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring full compliance with driver hours and transport legislation
• Always working safely and professionally

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday Nights: £16.35 per hour
• Saturday Nights: £18.65 per hour
• Sunday Nights: £18.65 per hour
• Bank Holidays: £18.96 per hour

Qualifications

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points
• No DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
