Job summary

PS LTD in Crick, Northamptonshire, is seeking HGV1 drivers for an easy trunking contract. This role involves 1–2 trunk runs per day to stores, with occasional supplier collections. The position operates on a 7-day basis with start times from 21:00 to 03:00 and long shifts, including weekends.

The role is purely driving; the vehicle is security padlocked and accessed by store staff at destination. An assessment is required for long-term or permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV1 license, Digi card and CPC for at least 6 months.
• You will be assessed at start and must pass an assessment for permanent placement.

Responsibilities

• Trunking and trailer swaps with stores (1–2 trunks per day).
• Occasional collection from supplier.
• Shifts start 21:00–03:00, typical 10–11 hours; 7 days a week.

Job description

PS LTD require HGV1 Drivers based in Crick, Northamptonshire to work on an easy trunking contract. The work is trailer swaps and trunk runs to stores.

Duties will include 1-2 Trunks per day to stores with a possible collection on return from a supplier. This is purely a driving role as the vehicle is security padlocked and only opened by store staff when arriving at the destination. T

Start times between 21:00 - 03:00 Shifts typically 10-11 hours. 7 day operation. Part time & Full time positions available.

Guaranteed Minimum of 8 hours

Weekly pay:

Monday to Friday - £20.17 per hour

Saturday - £22.41 per hour

Sunday - £24.65 per hour

ASSESSMENT REQUIRED .

You must hold a valid HGV1 license along with a Digi and CPC card for at least 6 months.

This is an immediate start position leading to long term work or a Temp to perm role for the right candidate, once you have completed an assessment.
