Job summary

Millison Chase Ltd is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers in Evesham, Worcestershire for ongoing work within the fresh produce and food distribution sector. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular work with shifts across days, nights and weekends.

We offer competitive hourly rates with weekly PAYE payments and no umbrella payroll. Opportunities include full-time, part-time and ad-hoc shifts across a 24/7 distribution cycle, with dedicated recruitment

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence and CPC card are required.
• Digital tachograph knowledge and tachograph regulations understanding.
• Professional and reliable attitude with good communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Transport fresh produce and food products safely and timely.
• Drive HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles.
• Deliveries and collections from farms, packhouses, and depots.
• RDC/NDC deliveries and refrigerated transport when needed.
• Complete daily vehicle and trailer safety checks and secure loads.
• Couple/uncouple trailers and check fifth wheel before departure.
• Accurate delivery paperwork and reporting defects.
• Adhere to Drivers' Hours and Tachograph regulations.
