Job summary

We Optimise | Amazon ES is seeking a reliable HGV 1 Tramper (Nights) to join the team, working Sunday to Thursday nights with an average 12-hour shift. The role involves transporting goods on a depot-to-depot basis with trailer swaps and no handball required.

All trucks are new and equipped with fridges and microwaves. Parking is paid via Snap account. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a £45,000.00 annual salary.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with ≤6 penalty points.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all road traffic regulations.
• Conduct pre-journey checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues via an app.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.

As an HGV 1 Tramper (Nights), you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all regulations and company policies.

This role requires flexibility, all parking is paid via snap account.

The job is mainly depot to depot tramping and trailer swaps with no handball required.

All trucks are new and fully equipped with fridges and microwaves.
