Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd is seeking HGV / Class 1 (CE) drivers to operate from our client’s premises in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on an ongoing basis with immediate starts available.

You will be responsible for driving a boxed heavy goods vehicle, completing trunk runs, keeping paperwork and logs up to date, and carrying out vehicle checks. A CE licence and DIGI/CPC cards are required, with a minimum 3 months experience.

Qualifications

• CE licence or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence
• No more than 6 points on licence
• DIGI and CPC Card
• Minimum 3 months driving experience

Responsibilities

• Drive a boxed heavy goods vehicle
• Complete trunk runs depot to depot
• Ensure all paperwork and logs are completed accurately
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects

Grafters Recruit are currently looking for HGV / Class 1 / CE Drivers to work out of our client's premises in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on an ongoing basis with immediate starts available.

For this HGV / Class 1 / LGV1 / C+E Driver role, you will be responsible for:

• Driving a boxed heavy good vehicle.
• Completing trunk runs, depot to depot.
• Ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed accurately.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

For this HGV / Class 1 / LGV1 / C+E Driver role, you will need:

• CE licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• No more than 6 points.
• DIGI and CPC Card.
• Minimum 3 months experience

Details of this HGV / Class 1 / LGV 1 / C+E Driver role:

• Competitive hourly rate - £15.66PH - £35.28PH.
• AM and PM work available - 11am -1600 is ideal
• Positive and friendly environment including free on-site parking.
• Minimum 9.5hrs guaranteed per shift, even if you do less.
