Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking three HGV Class 1 drivers for a growing pallet distribution business in Doncaster. Competitive hourly rates and permanent roles, with two shift patterns and potential extra weekend shifts.

You will drive HGV Class 1 vehicles on planned routes, ensure timely deliveries, complete safety checks and paperwork, and uphold professional standards with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 18 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle on planned routes.
• Transport palletised goods safely and securely.
• Complete deliveries and collections on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Complete paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Comply with drivers' hours, road laws and safety procedures.

Job description

three HGV Class 1 Drivers for a growing pallet distribution business in Doncaster.

We have two shift patterns available, offering competitive hourly rates and permanent employment opportunities for experienced drivers looking for consistent work and long-term career prospects.

Available Shifts & Pay

Monday to Friday - 2 positions available: £15.90 per hour, working approximately 50-60 hours per week.

4 on 4 off - 1 position available: £16.62 per hour.

Additional weekend shifts may be available.

The Role

Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle to complete planned delivery and collection routes.

Transporting palletised goods safely and securely.

Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and on time.

Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.

Completing relevant paperwork and delivery documentation.

Complying with drivers' hours regulations, road traffic laws and health and safety procedures.

Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.

Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience.

Valid digital tachograph card.

Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.

Flexibility to work the advertised shift pattern.
