Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a Monday–Friday, early-morning shift with consistent hours across regional and nationwide routes. This role offers £18.50 per hour with typical weekly hours around 55 and up to 28 days of holiday; depot-to-depot trunking and curtain-sided trailers are standard, with no manual handling required.

Qualifications

• Current HGV Class 1 (CE) entitlement.
• Digital Tachograph Card valid.
• Driver CPC qualification valid.
• At least 12 months’ HGV experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points for insurance.
• No DR, DD, IN, CU or MS convictions.

Responsibilities

• Depot-to-depot trunking on regional and nationwide routes.
• Operate curtain-sided trailers.
• No handballing; loading by forklift.
• Maintain a professional working environment.
