Job summary

Ford & Slater in Leicester is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver (Collection and Delivery) to service customers across Leicestershire and surrounding areas, with occasional longer trips to other Ford & Slater dealerships.

You must hold a valid UK Class 1 licence, be customer focused with excellent communication, and be PC literate. Role includes road testing where permitted, steam cleaning trucks, and general workshop caretaker duties when not driving.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver vehicles within Leicestershire and surrounding areas; occasional longer journeys to other Ford & Slater dealerships.
• Occasional road testing of vehicles (subject to licence restrictions).
• Steam cleaning of trucks and related preparatory tasks.
• General workshop caretaker duties when not driving; maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
