Job summary

Poundland & Dealz is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to deliver across the UK, supporting store teams with safe, on-time deliveries. You will conduct vehicle checks and keep accurate records while ensuring legal compliance and providing excellent customer service on every stop.

You will work independently on the road within a supportive transport team, bring strong knowledge of transport operations, and adapt quickly to route changes.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of transport operations and legal compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle checks and keep the fleet in good condition.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build relationships with store teams and deliver across the UK.
• Work as part of a team while staying independent on the road.
