Job summary

Evri Swindon is recruiting HGV Class 1 Twilight Drivers to join our Swindon depot. The role covers full-time shifts around 40 hours per week, with some weekend work and routes across the EVR network.

You must hold a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 entitlements, Driver CPC and a digital tachograph. The position offers £16.42 per hour with overtime, pension contributions and a range of flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 entitlements, Driver CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome; a short driving assessment will be undertaken.

Responsibilities

• Drive longer routes on twilight shifts and ensure safe collection and delivery of parcels.
• Update paperwork and assist depot staff with heavier items as needed.
• Adapt to road and weather conditions and communicate issues for route alternatives.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities forHGV Class 1 Night Drivers(or Cat C+E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growingSwindondepot.

WhatYou’llDo:

OurHGV Class 1 driversusually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in theEVRinetwork.You’llensure parcels are collected and deliveredsafely;paperwork updated andassistdepot staff with heavier items from time to time. We know the great British roads and weatherdon’talways play nicely, soyou’llneed to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.

Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week with some weekends.

Our Twilight shift typically starts between 13:00 - 18:00

Essential Skills & Experience Required:
