Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to support trunking between depots across the national network. This temporary/ongoing role offers reliable shifts and a competitive hourly pay rate.

You will hold a valid HGV1 (CE) licence, CPC and Tachograph card, with up to 6 points, and pass vetting checks. Morning, evening and weekend shifts are available; onsite facilities are provided at depots and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / CE licence (held for 1 year).
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Max 6 points on licence and able to pass vetting checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites.
• Trunking between Royal Mail depots with scheduled routes.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold high safety standards.
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.
