Job summary

Royal Mail seeks a qualified HGV Class 1 driver to support trunking between national depots. You will operate planned routes with no handballing, maintain vehicle safety checks, and represent Royal Mail with professionalism.

Shifts include mornings, evenings and weekends; weekly pay, pension (PAYE) and onsite facilities are available. This is a temporary/ongoing role with a trusted national brand through 2026.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / CE licence (held for 1 year).
• A valid and in-date CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Max 6 points on your licence.
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites.
• Trunking between Royal Mail depots.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top-tier safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.
