Job summary

Royal Mail seeks a skilled HGV Class 1 (CE) driver for Hatfield on a temporary/ongoing basis. You will trunk mail between national depots using planned routes, with morning, evening and weekend shifts available. Attractive hourly pay and weekly wages accompany stable, ongoing work.

Requirements include valid HGV Class 1/CE licence, CPC, Digital Tachograph card, 180 days’ Class 1 driving in the last 2 years and a max of 6 points. Onsite support and pension benefits provided.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 / CE licence valid for at least 1 year
• CPC valid and in date
• Digital Tachograph card held
• 180 days Class 1 driving in last 2 years
• Max 6 points on licence
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks

Responsibilities

• Trunking between Royal Mail depots
• No handballing - organised routes
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold safety
• Follow scheduled routes with precision
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run
