Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for East Midlands Airport. The role focuses on trunking between Royal Mail depots with organised, planned routes and no handballing.

Shifts include mornings, evenings and weekends. You will perform daily vehicle checks, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain professional conduct on every run for a trusted national brand.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 1+ years).
• A valid and in date CPC + Digital Tachograph card.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Max 6 points on your licence.
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top-tier safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.
