Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 drivers to support nationwide trunking from Wolverhampton. The role offers up to £24.57 per hour with temporary/ongoing engagement, focusing on clean, professional driving for a trusted national brand.

Expect morning, evening and weekend shifts, guaranteed minimum daily hours, weekly pay, pension (PAYE) and onsite facilities at many depots. Onsite Pertemps team provides local support.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / CE licence (held for 1 year).
• A valid and in date CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national Royal Mail sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold safety standards.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.
