Job summary

Stobart (Part of the Culina Group) is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Burton Latimer, Kettering site for general haulage and trunking. Roles are full time with a Thursday to Monday night pattern and competitive hourly pay up to £18.96.

You will drive curtainside trailers, perform vehicle checks, and work with the transport team to ensure safe, compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

• A valid C+E licence is required.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (New Pass drivers considered).
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
• DCPC and Tachograph cards held currently.
• Able to understand and carry out vehicle checks and report defects.

Responsibilities

• General haulage with curtainside trailers to distribution centres and stores.
• Collections from stores to load out to distribution centres.
• Support general work including occasional store deliveries and loading/unloading cages.
• Trunking opportunities available depending on availability.
• Complete vehicle checks and documentation; maintain safety and professionalism.
• Work closely with transport team to ensure smooth operations; adhere to drivers hours and WTD.
