Expect Distribution Limited is seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver (tramping) based in Bradford. The role focuses on safe, timely transportation of goods, complying with regulations and company procedures. Night shifts are included with a salary of £46,475 per year and additional per-night allowances.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• Knowledge of road safety and transport regulations.
• Willingness to bank hours as required.
• Comply with BRCGS and GDP guidelines after training.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Good geographical knowledge or ability to use navigation systems.
• Physically fit for manual tasks.

Responsabilités

• Comply with BRCGS (food and drink) and GDP (medicine) guidelines following training.
• Subsequently working in a responsible manner that complies with and increases product safety and quality.
• Safely operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle.
• Deliver and collect goods according to planned routes and schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.
• Comply with EU/UK drivers’ hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive rules.
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with transport planners, customers, and depot staff.
